In class: Sara Hawkins

Saras claim is that it is important to do a variety of things to get women, such as burgers, cable, smells, etc.

Her support is from being a women she, of course, knows what they like and dont like. She states in the commecials things that will get you "hot women" rather than "regular women".

In class: free write: topics for essay 4

I wish I didnt:
Have to get up so early.
Go to football practice after class.
Have a roomate.
Have to share a bathroom with 3 other people.
Have mandatory study hall for 8 hours a week.
Have to wake up and sign in 30 minutes before my first class.
I wish could have a bigger bed in my room rather than the twin the already have there.
The things werent so expensive on campus like in 1873, the union grounds, ect.
I wish that TCU police wouldnt give as many tickets for dumb stuff like parking.

Arguements that usually occur:
why tcu only only gives grants to people whose parents are poor, yet we all live here and dont all get help from our parents.

topic i migth use: TCU police giving parking tickets. This is something that occurs very often for me. I have gotten 5 parking tickets since i moved here in June. Its not jsut that I am iggnorant and think I can park whereever I want, you must realize that 4 of these tickets where broken into 2 consecutive days, and then in another 2 consecutive days. I understand that it might have been nessesary to give me a ticket for parking in the sophomore lot but is it really needed for so many. The cops clearly seen i had already gotten a ticket. Before i even got the chance to see my vehicle they gave another one. Some people might disagree but this i feel is a bit rediculous. I feel like it is pointless to have an athlete like myself have his whole college paid for by TCU and then they turn around and charge me hundreds of dollars for parking stickers and tickets for when I park in the wrong lot for a day or two. I understand it is needed that the TCU police inforce the parking rules. I dont think that as an athlete i should have special parking prevliges. That is not an option, but they need to understand individual needs.

rhetorical response: the second amendment.

The second amendment is something that has been argued about for many years. Everyone has their own points of view on the situation and what they think about this particular amendment. Well, my point of view is that we should have the right to bear arms. I think I is crazy to even think that making it illegal will help anything. Just take a look around and see illegal things being done time and time again. It is illegal to smoke weed, yet in almost every city and many neighbor hoods you can buy and sell weed. With that in mind, I think that guns would be the same. You can not stop people from buying things illegally, but what you can do is allow people to get license to carry a concealed weapon to protect themselves from those who carry guns illegally. Many people think that making guns illegal will help with the crime rate. Well, you have to think of it in different perspectives if you think about this. I say that because if you take away guns don’t you think the death rate from knifes and other weapons go up? And if so, then what? Should we then take away knifes? Don’t get me wrong, I understand how many people think that guns create problems. But where are the problems coming from? I believe that the problem is on the streets where people carry weapons illegally. If these people are having the weapons illegally then how would the laws change anything? I know many people who carry around a concealed weapons who are very good people. They carry around a weapon not to show it off or for any other reason but only to protect themselves if ever needed. I think that is a very good thing that the United States allows people to do things like that to protect themselves. It is very necessary that people can feel safe when walking around and just out in the city. I actually own a few guns. I do not have a concealed weapon, but I do own some shotguns and my dad owns multiple deer rifles and shotguns. So I do in fact have experience with guns. I love to hunt for deer and dove and just sometimes shoot at targets. When growing up with a family that has weapons, of course when there is a subject on guns I can talk from knowledge so I feel this helps when discussing certain subjects like this. But, this is not the only reason I think we should have the right to bear arms. It is not just because I grew up around them. I actually truly believe we need them in this country. From hearing about the second amendment from other people and their sides of the argument I usually notice that the people who agree with making it illegal to bear arms are the people who do not have concealed weapons. And I would think that all the people who carry a weapon would have the exact opposite feelings about the amendment. So I have come to the conclusion that I think the people who do not have concealed weapons must not feel the need for them. This can be for many reasons. They might have never felt the need for that type of protection. But, if a person that wants weapons to be illegal was held at gun point by a stranger and almost killed was later asked the question whether they think it is good to have a concealed weapon then the answer might now be different. Therefore I believe that everyone has different feelings towards this subject. It many differ from everyone. Whether you feel the need for a weapon because of something in the past or for some other reason or you feel that guns should be illegal it is a personal choice. It will be argued for quite some time before a decision is made and I am looking forward to seeing what decision is made and the outcomes of it.
